About Antonia Hare

On a cold night in early October 1997, in a town on the coast of Scotland called Kirkcaldy, Antonia Hare was born. It would only be years down the track that people would discover she was a writer, a lesbian, a wannabe comedian, and someone far too opinionated for her own good. These traits would all help influence her later work, either in tone, representation, or needing to show her side of things.

Since early primary school, Antonia would write whatever she could: short stories, unfinished novels, articles, poems, essays that went over the word count. She was sixteen when she discovered her love of screenwriting and decided that that was it for her, and eighteen when she decided television sitcoms were her calling.

Upon graduating high school, she decided to 'discover herself' and take advantage of her dual citizenship, so she returned to her home country. There she found inspiration for numerous stories while dealing with chaotic customers in an ice cream shop, reiterating that customer service was not for her. With more scripts and stories under her belt, she returned to Australia with the realization she needed to Get Real.

For the past three years, Antonia has attended the Australian Film, Television and Radio School, playing various roles on set and writing numerous scripts in her spare time, with plans to one day tell Australian stories and British ones. She still thinks she's funny and still writes primarily about LGBT women, but has become slightly less obnoxious. Download the resume below to find out more and see if she's your kind of girl.

SPRINGFIELD

A parody of The CW's Riverdale, SPRINGFIELD is a live action reboot of the hit sitcom The Simpsons.

Springfield is the all-American town, and the Simpsons family is the all-American family. But when Sherri Mackleberry is found dead, the teenagers Bart and Lisa find themselves caught up in the murder. Dealing with other teen dramas such as sex, drugs, alcohol, and sexuality, the two try to navigate the town - with no help from their confused father, Homer, and overbearing mother Marge.
